8 Tips on how to create powerful squeeze page
A squeeze page is a page designed specifically on capturing leads and allows you to follow up with your subscribers. If you’re an affiliate marketer then this is THE most important assets of your affiliate business. So if you want to learn how to build your own powerful squeeze page system then read further and I will reveal it to you.
Tips #1: Forge your killer headline
State your ‘ultimate benefit’ clearly and straight to the visitor’s problems. It’s always good to include curiosity and make your headline as unique as possible. This is the most important factor in your squeeze page because your visitors wouldn’t stay long at your squeeze page unless you have a killer headline that grab their attention and pursuit them to read more on your squeeze page.
Here are the examples of good headline and bad headline:
BAD – “Free Report On How to Make Money Through Affiliate Marketing”
GOOD – “At Last, An Easy Way To Create A Profitable Affiliate Campaign and See Results At Lightning Speed…Even If You’re Just Starting From Scratch!”
Tips #2: Make your body copy short and simple
Keep it short. One or two paragraph would do the job. The main purpose of body copy is to welcome your visitors and lead them to your selling point.
Example: “If you’ve tried of some “get rich quick” scheme that doesn’t work and wanted to learn how to create your own profitable affiliate business within days, then you’re going to love my free downloadable secret report!”
Tips #3: Make your selling point “mysterious”
Don’t state out your benefits directly. But instance, make it as mysterious as possible.
BAD – “Why building your own prospect list can be vital to your affiliate business?”
GOOD- “A simple affiliate strategy that can flood your bank account with unlimited cash from time to time!”
Tips#4: Highlight, bold, italic or underline your key point!
These makes your squeeze page looks more attractive but just don’t over do it. My advice, not more than two combinations in one paragraph.
Tips#5: Swipe some ideas from merchant’s sales copy
This is a killer method. You can swipe some ideas or ‘copy & paste’ key point from your merchant’s sales copy directly. Most of the merchants allow their affiliate to do that. After all, you’re promoting their product. But it’s always good to inform your merchant first to avoid any unnecessary problems.
Tips#6: Obvious call to action – tell them what to do
State out clearly what they should do and includes your main selling point in the ‘call to action’ statement to boost up your conversion rate.
Example: “Simply fill-in your first name and email address below to learn how to create your own cash-generating affiliate business within the next 48 hours!”
Tips#7: Include short privacy statement
You must include a short privacy statement around your opt-in form. You need to assure your visitors that their emails are safe with you.
Here’s an example of privacy statement: “Your privacy is protected and your details will never be shared, sold or revealed. Just like you, we hate SPAM!”
Tips#8: Split testing
It’s always good to do split testing on each of the component on your squeeze page. Through this way, you’ll know what converts better and what’s not. Here’s the split testing software that I personally use:
This revolutionary software allows you to
>> Tell you exactly where the money is… immediately using the revolutionary AIDA Formula.
>> Skyrockets conversions on your squeeze page
>> Takes all the risk out of PPC marketing
>> See results instantly in a matter of hours
Hope this help!
