5 Big Internet Business Lies…

By nathanonn On July 2, 20091 Comment

You have heard from people saying Internet Business is a waste of time, you will not make any money, there is no real money to be made online, it will never work and so many others negative words coming from people who don’t really understand in this Internet Business industry.

The thing is, it does work. Why some people make a fortune and some don’t even make money at all? Simply because the people who make thousands or millions of cash knew all the lies in this business and they will not trust these lies.

So what is this big internet lies? Below here are the five big internet lies that you should know:

1. Starting And Running A Business On The Internet Is Expensive

Do you know that you can start your business with zero cost? You can actually earn your income by joining a very high quality affiliate program. Usually, as an affiliate marketer, your job is concentrating on marketing only. All the follow up, delivery of the product, answering questions from customers and so on are done by the owner of the program.

Usually the ‘Expensive’ statement often comes from people who are living in non-U.S. countries, especially if the country’s local currency is smaller than that of the U.S. Dollar. If it is not a currency issue, it is a vision issue. See and think small to get small. See and think big and your results will have a tendency to match your thoughts.

2. You Can Make Easy Money From The Internet

Most people believe you can make money overnight and by not doing anything at all. If it is what you have in mind right now, this myth is what sets the realistic apart from the unrealistic. You have probably heard of stories of how people make 5 to 6 figure incomes in the shortest period of time imaginable.

These stories might be true but did you know most of them have failed so miserably several times before they can really make money? They have learned from their mistakes and move on. It may seem as if some gurus are overnight successes with the wild numbers some people have brought in during a day or a week selling information or products online.

Some interesting facts about overnight success ?it normally takes months if not years to realize. In other words, they prepare, they create a joint ventures, they get ready and then build up anticipation for a launch then BOOM it explodes!

3. You Must Know HTML, Programming And Graphic Designing In Order To Start Your Business

You don’t need to know all of these at all. Period. In fact, one of the biggest shockers was the discovery that most of the biggest on the gurus today do not have the first clue as to how to build a web page.

These gurus earned more money because they knew how to reach people. They either outsource for professional help or establish Joint Ventures with other individuals who can compensate their lack of knowledge in any one of these areas.

As a matter of fact, most successful people are true successes because they only focus their time on what brings them successes.

If you want to create your web pages without having to learn programming, HTML and designing skills, just find someone else that can do it for you. There are many professional web designer you can find on the Internet which you can hire them to design your web pages exactly like you wanted.

4. On The Internet, There Is No Need To Know How To Sell

This statement has make people who hate selling are attracted to ads that read to selling required? Think for a moment, is there any logic at all you can make money without doing anything at all? Usually these programs are usually unworkable and some are run by fly-by-night operators.

In this business, don’t try to sell to other people. Instead, you inform your potential customers. Show people what their lives would be like with what you offer and you will have a sale without selling anything at all!

5. You Don’t Have To Build A Mailing List At All

Laughing out loud that is like saying, “You don’t want to be in business?” Put this in your head, your mailing list is as important to you as the ‘yellow Pages’ is to a conventional B2B business.

‘The money is in the list’ You probably heard this from most gurus out there. But you should also have this word in your mind, ‘The money is in the relationship’ The idea of networking with people is unattractive to most who hate to sell.

Remember though, you are not selling anything. You are just showing people their life and how it can easily be enhanced by what you have to offer.

All the above are just some of the big Internet lies. Actually there are a lot more Internet lies you should stay away from. You have to be smart in order to really achieve success that you could possibly imagine. Success is like enlightenment. It is a path and not a destination.

What One Strategy To Boost Your Profits by 300% Using Resell Rights Products In Your Hard Drive?

By nathanonn On June 28, 2009 No Comments

There are all kinds of digital products with resell rights that you can get to sell. However, marketing resell rights products can be hard to do when you don’t know how to do it.

Well I’m about to share with you my ’secret’ tactic that would help you boost your profits by two- to even three-fold. It can expand and boost your profits with nothing more than a little creative twist.

Here’s the ’secret’ tactic….

- Strategic Packaging -

This is a bundle-everything-and-sell strategy. Okay not necessarily EVERYTHING you have but more than sufficient to build an attractive Resell Rights bundle to sell at a one unique price.

It can be profitable if done correctly but don’t underestimate its competitive nature. A lot of Resell Rights marketers do this since it’s the closest idea to home and practically a no-brainer in some instances.

However, you have to a really unique selling angle. It’s because your customers – mostly resellers themselves – are spoilt with choices in our free market world.

One way is to create multiple bundles to sell at different prices and appeal to different audiences to increase your chance of making your profit.

What You Need

A rich collection of diverse or topic-focused Resell Rights products that are allowed to be bundled into one package.

How to – Step-by-Step

1) First, think in terms of the packages of resell products that you offer for your resellers.

Do you offer one simple package that has a sense of being one size fits all? If so, you may want to expand on that a bit and put together one or two more customized reseller packages. These can include some extra products above and beyond your basic package, and perhaps a slightly different incentive program as well. More than one package type will allow you to reach people who otherwise might look for opportunities elsewhere.

2) If you choose to go with multiple packages, keep in mind that you want to be competitive with similar packages already on the market.

Do some surfing, so you can get a feel for the current lay of the land. Along the way, you can make note of the pricing and see how it stacks up to your costs for providing the products. You may find that by adding one more product to a package and undercutting most of the competition by just a few dollars that you will still make a handsome profit on each sale.

3) Pricing is always an important aspect of any reselling strategy.

You want to include options for your customers, and that means multiple packages at multiple prices. By doing this, you will appeal to consumers across a wider economic spectrum, and possibly find an unexpected niche in a particular sector of the market.

4) Don’t be afraid to tweak your packages from time to time.

In fact, doing so can help keep the appeal of your products fresh and exciting. A new cover for that e-book, or adding a few pages so you can rightly claim that it is updated may be all you need to do. Nothing generates interest like a fresh approach to an established product.

Summary

Marketing resell rights products can be very hard if you don’t know how to do it correctly. So, you need to educate yourself on how to do marketing on the internet first and this going to be an ongoing process no matter how long you are in internet marketing.

So If you think that secret is good, I’ve got nine other secrets just like that. They’re in my confidential report that I’m going to give to you for FREE. Split Test for Better Copy Performance

By nathanonn On June 23, 2009 No Comments

There is an effective process that is available to copywriters that can really help them produce the best copy possible. Many copywriters, though, do not use this process. The process is called a split test.

A split test is where you test out your copy that you have written in a variety of styles. You can write a couple different copies or you can change certain aspects like just the headline or include testimonials in one and not the other. Split testing allows you to see what copy is the most effective.

No matter how great your copy is, split testing can help. The thing about split testing is that it does take time a little extra effort. That is why so many copywriters seem to avoid doing it. The advantages of split testing, though, make it well worth while. It really is something you should consider if you want to really write powerful copy that makes sales.

When developing your pieces for split testing you will need to first define what it is that you are looking to discover. You need to decide if you want to try out two completely different copies or if you are just trying to test formatting or if you are seeking which headline works the best.

After deciding what you want you need to write the different copies. You can do two or more if you feel like it or need to. After writing them you will assign each a code. This code will become part of the order form as well so you can easily track which copy is doing the best job.

In order to make your split testing most effective it helps to use identical copy except for the one thing you are testing. You should also market them the exact same way and keep every detail identical. This will produce the most effective results for the split test.

There is no doubt that split testing is a lot of work. You cannot just write the copy and sit back to wait for sales. It involves tracking results and making changes as needed to get the best copy possible.

The benefits of split testing, though, make the effort well worth while. You are going to be able to write the most effective copy and you are going to see that reflected in your profits. By using split testing you are able to really get to the heart of what makes your customers buy. You will learn their triggers and you will learn how to write your copy in the future so you can make the big sales.

It may only take one split testing session to get to the heart of what you need. It may also be an ongoing process that you will need to do with every copy you write. That really depends upon your market. If you are always writing for the same market then a one time split test may work. If you are writing for multiple markets, though, you will likely need to do a split test for each market at least once.

You want to get to know your prospective customers the best you can so you can write copy that really speaks to them. There is no better way to do that then to test out what catches their attention.

Split testing is something that you have available to you. It is not going to be something that you will find easy to do in the beginning, but in time it will become second nature. It is one of the best tools you have to help you learn how to write killer copy.

If you are not sure about split testing then do a simple online search and you will soon discover that it is a great tool. You will read about how studies have proven that split testing can double or even triple the sales form a copy.

With proof like that it is hard to deny that split testing is something that is worthy of your time and effort. It is something that will take effort, but then it takes a lot of effort to make money and write good copy. You should think of it like this - if you want to write the best copy possible then the only way to truly do that is find out from your readers what type of copy motivates them the best to buy. The way to do this is to do a split test because you will get the answer straight from your customers and it will be an honest opinion because they won’t even be aware you are running a test.

Here’s the split testing software that I personally use:

Closing in for the Sale in Your Sales Copy

By nathanonn On June 18, 2009 No Comments

The end of your sales copy is going to tie together everything you have been saying in your copy. It is going to sum up the main points and it is where you are going to ask for the sale. The closing of your copy is very important and it is your chance to finally ask the customer to hit the buy now button and try out your product.

Up until the end your sales copy has been building up your product. It has been highlighting the great features and benefits your product has to offer. Your sales copy has worked to get the reader to see that they need the product and that they cannot live without it.

The closing is where you basically say to your reader that now they know everything about your product and why they need it. You tell them they can now make a good, informed decision and that it is time to buy.

Your closing should include a buy now button that the reader can click to take them to the order page. It should be predominantly displayed and easy to see.

If your sales copy has been strong and well written then you should have no problems writing your closing. It should come pretty easily, actually. Your closing should seem like something that just fits, like it is the right time to finally ask for the sale.

One of the biggest trends in copywriting right now is to make the closing an amazing pitch that can not be ignored. Ask the reader how much your product is worth to them. Ask them if they would pay an outrageous amount of money to get the benefits of the product. Then tell them straight out that they can get what they want for your selling price, which will be small compared to the large amounts people will pay for the great benefits you offer.

The closing should also bring that sense of urgency to a head. You have to tell them again that your offer can not wait. You have to tell them that they need to act now or they will miss out.

Be sure to also highlight any special offers or bonuses you are offering. You want to make sure they fully understand what they will miss out on if they do not buy now.

Your closing should really bring the reader in. It has to grab them and make them feel like they know enough to make an informed purchase.

You should mention your guarantee as well. You want to make the reader feel comfortable and confident. If you have bonuses you need to tell about them in the closing. Bonuses are great tools that can make a person decide to buy. Use your closing to introduce them and use them as a way to get that sale.

Your closing needs to be well written. Do not rush it. Even though it may seem natural to write it and even much easier to write then the rest of the copy, you still need to make sure it is well written.

You have to take the time to make sure that it goes along with the rest of the copy and that it works for your whole concept. You have to be careful not to just slap it together. Your closing deserves some attention to make sure it is perfect.

After all, your closing is going to be one of the last things you say to your reader. It is one of the last chances you have to get them to buy. You have to use it wisely.

Your closing is your wrap up. It should contain the following things, written in a clear manner that goes along with the style of the rest of the copy:

  • Ask for the sale. Directly ask the customer to buy the product and tell them what they need to do to make the purchase.
  • Tell them about the bonuses. Explain the bonuses and how they are beneficial and how long they will be available.
  • Set a time limit for special offers and make it clear.
  • Thank the reader for their business. Always assume they are going to buy if they are reading your closing, so do not forget to thank them.

If you include these parts in your closing then you should be able to write a killer closing that will help to reel in those buyers. You will find a strong closing can really help to seal the deal with many readers.

The Art of Persuasive Copywriting

By nathanonn On June 15, 2009 1 Comment

The ultimate goal of any copywriting project is to persuade the reader to buy the product.

In order to do that, though, it requires you to write an amazing copy that will be convincing enough to the reader to make them feel as if they must buy the product.

To do this takes a few important points that must be included in the copy.

One of the biggest things you need to do is build up your credibility.

People do not buy products from someone they do not trust. Think about this concept. One of the reasons companies with well recognized names are so successful is that they have repeat customers who trust them.

Their customers know the company knows what they are doing. They trust them when they say that their product is good and they trust the promises that the company makes about the product. Without this trust a company would be hard pressed to be able to sell anything.

In order to build your credibility you need to include information in your copy that shows you know what you are talking about. Testimonials are a great credibility builder. If you have past customers that are extremely satisfied then ask them for testimonials you can use in your copy.

Another thing you should do is writing with specifics in mind. Do not estimate or use rounded or average figures. Instead be very specific. You should make sure that anything you say is 100% accurate. Never guess about anything you put in your copy. It is too easy for someone to discover you are wrong and that can shoot your credibility down to the ground.

You should also explain why you are credible when it comes to the product. If you are the creator then explain how you came up with the idea and how it came to be the product it is today. If you have special training related to the product then say so, too.

You also have to be confident in yourself to gain credibility. Do not hesitate to give out your contact information. Let customers know they can contact you whenever they need to. In all correspondences with customers or potential customers you should always be professional and approach it in a very serious manner. This will also help your credibility.

Another way to persuade readers to become buyers is to present them with all the facts about the product. You want to highlight the features and benefits of the product. You need to be very specific when explaining the product.

You should make sure to highlight all of the features that are truly unique about the product. If the product is similar to something else on the market then you need to also highlight why it is a better choice and what exactly makes it the better choice.

Use bullet points in your copy to highlight the features and benefits. Readers are more likely to notice and remember the bullet points then anything else in the copy. Additionally, bullet points just make it easier to read and they make it easy to be very specific.

Another thing you can do to persuade readers is by using persuasive words. In copy there are certain words that are very popular because they are trigger words that cause a person to stop and pay attention or that can trigger a person to want to buy.

Here are some good examples of persuasive words you can use:

- Limited Time Offer
- Special Offer
- Free Bonus
- Act Now

These examples all set up a sense of urgency and make the reader think they are getting in on something special that is only going to be around for a short time. People respond to this sort of thing. Instead of pondering the decision to buy they act immediately because they fear they miss out.

Besides using trigger words, you need to build up the value of the product. You need to use examples why your product is such a good value for the price you are asking. You should compare the product to other similar products on the market and explain why yours is a better value. This works best, obviously, if you are selling your product at a lower price.

You also have to make the reader feel like they need the product. You have to give them specific reasons why your product is something they need. Tell them how it will make their life better or improve things for them. Again, be specific and make sure you are communicating to the reader in terms they can clearly understand.

Persuading your readers to buy the product is your goal with copywriting. You have to do everything in your power to make your words effective enough to persuade the reader to buy.

That is what is at the heart of copywriting.

10 Tips To Help You Write Better Headlines And Make More Sales

By nathanonn On June 13, 2009 1 Comment

The headline of a sales copy is, perhaps, the most important part of the whole piece. They account for ~ 95% of your success. In other words, if you don’t get your headlines right, your site won’t sell.

The headline is what grabs the reader’s attention and gets them to read the rest of the copy. It is the first thing they see and can be the key to the whole copy. If your headline fails to create excitement, it’s very likely that your visitor will leave your site immediately and probably never return again. Basically headline serves the purpose of drawing in the reader and makes them want to read more.

So, how do you create excitement? You have to intrigue your reader with the fantastic benefits of your product. You want the reader to be impressed. You want them to want more.

The goal of your headline is to stir emotions and to help your reader to imagine enjoying all the great benefits of your product. People buy for emotional reasons and that’s why it’s so important to describe the benefits of your product and not its features.

Your site visitor is having only one question on her mind: What’s in it for me? — How can I solve my problem? How can I make more money? How can I get that job? … Focus only on your customer and answer her burning questions immediately – that’s how to write a great headline.

Here’s the 10 tips on how to make your headlines more effective:

1. Write down all the benefits of your product. What kind of problems does it solve? Did it make people happier, healthier, or wealthier? Make it emotional.

2. You might not be aware of all the benefits. Think outside the box and keep on looking for more benefits — don’t let any of them slip away. (Make it a habit to list down all the benefits of your product first before you start crafting your headline.)

3. What is the USP (Unique Selling Proposition) of your product? What makes it stand out of the crowd, what makes it unique? That’s your most important benefit, that’s the one that will differentiate your product from those of your competitors.

4. Use short, active verbs that rouse emotions and create images.

5. Write your headlines only for your target customer and don’t care about the rest.

6. Powerful words you can use in your headlines: How to, Free, Why, Who wants to know, Finally… or ask an open-ended question: “Why do so many people fail to attract more money?”

7. Don’t hype, what you are saying have to be believable.

8. Brainstorm 10 - 20 headlines.

9. Pretend you are your customer. Which headline would get you excited, which one stirs your emotions? Pick your three favorites and keep on modifying and changing them until you are really happy.

10. Take a break and come back the following day with a fresh mind. Do a final edit if necessary.

The headline is so important to the success of copywriting that you should plan on spending as much time writing it as you do writing the rest of the copy. The biggest mistake a copywriter can make is to simply throw together a headline. Good headlines require work.

You should be very dedicated to writing your headline. It is, after all, going to be almost as important as
the rest of your copy. It makes no sense to write a great copy and have a terrible headline because the
chances of your readers reading the rest of the copy are slim to none if your headline doesn’t reel them
in.

Learn how to write a great headline and getting the sale will become easy — outstanding headlines can increase your sales by several 100%.

How to sell an idea, product or service on the internet!

By nathanonn On June 3, 2009 No Comments

How to sell an idea, product, or service on the internet. It may sound as easy as you think. But in reality, it’s tougher than you expected. Unlike the brick and mortar business or offline selling, selling things online doesn’t require your negotiation skills, your charm or even your luck. In fact, you don’t even need to face-to-face meet with your prospect.

If you’re a sales person at the brick and mortar world then you should be familiar with this:-

Step one - make cold call

Step two - make appointment

Step three - do product presentation / demonstration

Step four - follow up with prospect

Step five - close the sales

This is the basic fundamental of closing sales in the offline world whereby you need to direct contact with your prospect in order for you to close sales.

Things are different in the online world. You don’t need to do cold call; you don’t need to make appointment; you don’t even have to face-to-face meet with your prospect in order to close sales.

No matter what you trying to sell online. All you need is your ability to write persuasion word that able to trigger your prospect’s interest and do whatever you want them to do. That’s copywriting.

So what is copywriting?

Copywriting is basically marketing. It is persuasive and it promotes an overall idea about a company, product or service. It is one of the most important aspects of internet marketing. It can make or break an online marketing campaign.

Since the main idea of copywriting is to sell an idea, product or service, it is very important for a internet marketer to understand what makes up a good copy (web copy can be a sales letter, ads, email and etc). It’s all about knowing how to use words. You have to know how to manipulate them and put them together in a way that achieves your ultimate goal.

A good web copy will grab attention and make people excited. Therefore it is going to speak your target audience and offer useful information that will captivate them.

You should address concerns, answer common questions and explain your product or service in your copy. In fact, your copy should make your customers want your product and feel, even, as if they need your product. You have to sow the seed in their mind that they can not live without your product.

It helps to write your web copy from the point of view of your target audience. Use language they would use. Talk as they would talk. You have to relate to them on that deeper level or they will likely click away to someone else’s website.

The quality of your products and how great they are is something only you will know until you start telling people about it. Essentially, that is what your copy will do.

You should approach your copywriting with the same enthusiasm you have when talking about your products. You want to convey that in words to your readers. You have to be passionate and articulate. You have to use the power of words to draw a mental picture for your readers about just how great your product is and why they must buy it.

Your web copy is something that is so very important that you should spend plenty of time developing it and revising it until it is perfect. It’s your virtual sales person on the internet. This is one area where you will not want to just throw something together.

Copywriting is something that not everyone can do. But it can be done through proper guideline. I’ve compile a short report on how to write a persuasion web copy that will make your product or service sells like hot cakes.

Private Label Rights Secrets - Part 1

By nathanonn On March 15, 2009 No Comments

Private label rights for digital information products are very popular among internet marketers. You may or may not have heard of private label rights before. When you have been online for any length of time you will definitely know what they are. However, for those of you who don’t know what private label rights for digital information products are let me explain.

Private label rights will allow you to buy a product from someone along with all of the rights that go with it such as the source file (word document), sales page, graphics and so on. This will give you the right to make as little changes or as many changes are you want to on the product. You can change just specific areas if that is what you want to do.

Some of the changes that you can make are:

One: you can change the title or name of the product.

Two: you will be able to add your own name to the product as the author.

Three: you will be able to change the E-cover on the product if it is an eBook.

Four: you will be able to put your own affiliate links throughout the product wherever you want them.

Five: you can change, add or remove any of the content on the product.

Six: you will even be able to change the sales letter so that it sounds better to you.

Seven: you can even change the price of the product if that is what you want to do.

Private label rights means that you are given the editable rights to add, remove or change the product anyway that you decide to. You can sell private label rights products and keep 100 percent of the profits.

You’ll have a lot full control over the product. This means that you can make that product more unique than it was before. This also mean more profits for you.

One other thing that you want to remember is that with the private label rights you will be able to add credibility to your name. This means that when you have your own product people will be more likely to believe that you know what you are talking about. This is not always true but it can be and it can mean more profits for you.

Plus with private label rights for digital information products you will be able to have your own product without having to go through the hassle of creating that product. This will save you a lot of time and a lot of effort. That way you can concentrate on selling your new private label rights product. These products are definitely worth buying if you can afford to get them. You just want to make sure that you find a product that your customers are hungry for. The more they want it will mean the more money that you can make from it. So take the time needed to find that perfect product that your customers will gladly hand over their money for.

Hope this help!

One Niche & You’re Rich!

By nathanonn On January 14, 2009 1 Comment

Have you found yourself wondering why you are overwhelmed? There is so much material on the Internet regarding Internet marketing.

If a person tries to digest all of it at one time, they will will experience a bad case of online marketing indigestion. This is not a good feeling to have. I have had these feelings before as well.

The solution to this issue is to narrow your focus on one niche. You see it is much easier to become an expert in one area rather than two or more areas. I have made a decision to devote my time to making money on the Internet. There are countless ways to make money in this world today.

You can make money in real estate, the stock market, by owning your own offline business and in numerous other ways. But the people who really do well in this world financially are known primarily for one thing. Bill Gates in known for Microsoft. Warren Buffett is known as a stock expert. Donald Trump is known for real estate. I am sure that they have other things that they focus on now but they are known as being experts in a certain field.

What do you focus on? Many things or one thing? I am willing to bet that if your answer is many you are in a state of Internet marketing disconbobulation. Find something you like doing and become an expert at it. The trick is to find something you like doing that is profitable financiallly. This is the secret to making money on the net.

If there is a market for your product, you can sell it. Do a search on google and see how many results your area of focus will bring up. If you use keywords, you will get better results. The more targeted the results the better. It is easy to develop a product when you are an expert in that area because you know something that your buyers don’t. You are the expert and they are not. They will pay large sums of money to acquire your expertise.

As marketers we must understand that our time is extremely valuable and the more we focus on too many things, the more time that is wasted. This time could be better spent focusing on one niche. It takes time to learn what your niche market wants.

After you learn what they want, give the people what they desire. If your child wants a piece of pizza and you give them fish that would cause sadness in their hearts. They may cry and be upset with you. In the same way, if you give your target market something different then what they are asking for they will remove themselves from your list or no longer associate with you.

So use your time wisely and learn what your target market wants. Once you have determined what they want, if you do not already have a product created to meet their needs create one. Remember what they have told you and use the desires of their hearts as your blueprint to create an excellent information product.

Your job as the expert is to provide the answers to the questions that your target market is asking. You answer their questions with your products and you will be seen as an expert by them. You can also become qualified as an expert by creating a blog about your niche market. You can have your readers post their questions on your blog.

Answer their questions on your blog and they will also begin to view you in a different light. This will prove to them that you care about what they have to say. People buy more easily when they trust the person they are buying from. A blog is a great way to create an atmoshpere of trust. You can also build a great deal of rapport with your market in this way as well.

You can get to know your market on your blog and they can get to know you. An excellent method to implement to accomplish this is simply to be open with your life. Talk about your family and life on the blog and you will find that your market is more likely to talk about their family.

You now have a number of concepts to implement in your Internet business right now. The key is to go out and do them. You will be greatly rewarded if you do. One niche can indeed make you rich.

Hope This Help!

5 Tips For Affiliates Marketing Newbies

By nathanonn On January 10, 2009 3 Comments

Affiliate program is the starting place for a big majority of home entrepreneurs and beginners in Internet Marketing, because of the small amount of work involved. There is some elements that you must absolutely look for before you start promoting an affiliate product…

Tip #1. Promote a unique product to get better results.

Promoting a product which is already being sold by hundreds or affiliates will not give you the same results as if you have a unique proposition. A different product that only some affiliates distribute. That kind of program is a little bit difficult to find because it is not in the interest of the merchant to do so in the short term.

Tip #2. Powerful and effective affiliates tools.

When you are ready to promote, you may be lost if you are new to affiliates marketing. Actually, most of the beginners take months to make their first sale, because the merchant doesn’t help them in their hard work. So be sure to find a powerful and clear affiliates resource section. That will skyrocket your chances of success. Also, a good communication with the merchant is hard to find, but it is a must.

Try to find these resources, or some of them.

Tip #3. Example of effective resources:

* Brandable ebooks to give away or sell at a little price with your own affiliate ID links to generate leads… and sales.
* Sales letters provided.
* Templates of the emails to send to your list(s), pre-writen email or even better.
* Free promotional tips provided, to make money without spending thousands in the beginning (a must for beginners)
* Advices and tips for paid promotional techniques (don’t loose all your money in something that don’t bring results).
* Redirect links through your own website. For example: www.yoursite.com/theaffiliatesite/
* Banners

Tip #4. Good Tracking software.

It is a very important part. You must be able to monitor almost everything in your resources section:
you must be able to track your sales, how many visitors came to your site and to the merchant site, by which page they enter to the merchant site(here is the importance of the redirect links).

You must be able to view your payment history, and also how many people signed up underneath you if it is a two tiers affiliate program.

Tip #5. Cookies plus IP addresses.

Today, it is a common practice by Internet users to clear their cookies daily or weekly. So if you spend money on PPC or any other paid advertising to get a customer, you do not want to see another affiliate get the commission you should have received. So try to choose an affiliate program with a tracking software which take also the IP address of your future customer. By the way, recurring commissions are a must.

Last but not least, try to find associate programs with generous compensation plan, and give a preference to the two tiers affiliates programs because you will be paid on two levels. Good promotion, and enjoy your affiliate life.
